About Dr. Bratter and the staff
I was born and raised in South Florida. I graduated from The University of Florida, where I majored in Neuroscience. In 2003, I graduated from Medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL. I completed my OB/GYN residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
I spent the first few years of private practice in a large practice where I had the opportunity to meet many wonderful patients. In July 2009, I decided to begin my own practice, which has allowed me to practice medicine the way I have always wanted to. I have tried to make my office a very comfortable atmosphere, where patients can feel relaxed and aren't waiting all day to see me. Everyone has the opportunity to sit in my office for as long as they like and ask as many questions as needed. I have received a huge response to my "new way" of practicing and it has been incredibly rewarding for me.
My family life is also very important to me. I have a wonderful wife and two sons. Lifestyle is important for me as well as my patients, and so I value every minute that I am able to be with my family.
I welcome all of you into my practice and I really do hope that you will find your care here at Women's Health of South Broward to be a rewarding experience.
Colette Madar - Office Manager
I was born in Scotland and moved to Florida in 1985. I graduated from St. John Ogilvie High School and I have been working in the area of ob/gyn since 1987. I love what I do.
I worked for a large practice for 22 years and gained a wealth of experience in ob/gyn. When Dr. Bratter decided to open up his own practice it was a great honor for me to make the move with him.
Over the years I have made wonderful relationships with our patients and feel like they are part of our office family. It is a great pleasure to once again be able to get to know our new patients and provide them with the individual and personal care that they deserve.
Derly Lopez - Medical Assistant
I was born in Cali, Colombia and moved to Michigan in 1980. I received my certification as a medical assistant in 1991. In 1992 I moved to sunny Florida and was employed as a medical assistant for a large OB/Gyn practice for 16 years.
I was given the opportunity to remain with Dr. Bratter when he decided to open his own practice. It is a great privilege to work for such a wonderful physician. Dr. Bratter is not just my employer but he is one of the nicest and most respectful human beings that I have had the pleasure to work with.
I look forward to meeting all of our new patients and hope to provide you with outstanding care.
